INSTALLATION

Attach the mounting bracket to the PB20 using the M4x8 screws.

Mount PB20 to the wall using the ST4x12 screws.


Battery and Dongle Compartment

  1. Rotate the hand-tighten screw counter-clockwise to open the compartment cover.

2. Push to eject.

3. Remove the compartment.

4. The dongle compartment can be removed.


Connectivity Options

USB Connection

  1. Connect the PB20 and your host device via a USB cable. Once the connection is established, the PB20 enters USB mode and the LED indicator light will briefly turn green.
  2. Press any of the PB20 keys and the corresponding key values or functions will show on the host device.
  3. Rotate the magnetic knob to scroll up and down the screen of your connected device.

Note:

  • The green light specifically indicates USB communication mode.
  • USB mode takes the highest priority. The PB20 will automatically switch to USB mode once a USB cable with power and data communication capabilities is connected, even if the device is initially in wireless mode.
  • Important: PB20 configuration and firmware updates are only supported through USB communication mode.

Bluetoothยฎ Connection

  1. Insert 2 AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment.
  2. If the PB20 is connected to the host device via USB cable, unplug the USB cable.
  3. The PB20 will automatically enter wireless communication mode.
  4. Observe the color of the status indicator light. If the indicator is blue the PB20 is in BLE mode. If the indicator is yellow the PB20 is in 2.4G dongle mode.
  5. To switch to BLE mode, short press Fn and the Bluetoothยฎ button. Once the device is in BLE mode, the LED indicator light will briefly turn blue.

Bluetoothยฎ Pairing

  1. Once in BLE mode, the PB20 will automatically connect to the last paired device.
  2. To change pairing, long press FN and the Bluetoothยฎ button simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds. The LED indicator will turn blue and keep blinking at 1.5s frequency, meaning the PB20 is broadcasting signal for other devices to detect and establish a

Installation

Elys Display 22

  • Type-C Port: Connect PC
  • Type-A: Connect USB device
  • AC Power: Connect AC Cable
  • RJ45: Connect network cable
  • SD Card: Insert the SD card into the SD card slot

Installation

  1. Orient the AC power plug in the proper direction and insert it into the power port.

2. Insert the Ethernet cable into the RJ45 Ethernet port until the retaining clip clicks into place.

3. After all cables are plugged into their ports, the interface baffle can be installed after orienting it as indicated in the figure. Note that cables can be routed outside from the openings at the side of the baffle.

4. Fix the interface baffle in place by screwing the hand-screw clamps in place as indicated in the figure below.

5. After the interface baffle is fixed in place, insert the external antenna through the hole indicated in the above figure and then screw it in place.

6. Press the power button to turn on the device for three seconds until the main screen displays normally.

Instructions

  • Power on: Press and hold the Power button (on the top side) for three seconds until the circular LED light up.
  • Power off: Press and hold the Power button (on the top side) for three seconds until the shutdown menu appears, tap โ€œShutdownโ€, The terminal will be turned off after a few seconds.

Terminal Installation and Usage Tips

  1. Remove the stains on the reading window with a hairbrush.
  2. Please clean the window with a piece os soft cloth,e.g.,glasses cleaning cloth.
  3. Please use in the normal environment indoor and outdoor,avoid wet and water.
  4. Install the T3300 Base. Plug in TypeC port in the Base.
  5. Place the T3300 in the right direction as the Description picture shows.
  6. The T3300 will Power ON when place T3300 on the Base.
  7. Press the power Key to shutdown the T3300 when not use it.
    • Press the power Key until the shutdown menu appears, press the menu to shutdown T3300.
  8. Charge the T3300 in two ways:
    • Place T3300 on the Base with Type C plug in or plug Type C into T3300.

  • When disposing of the device, battery, or accessories, please do so responsibly and according to local regulations. These are not household waste items. Printer Cleaning and Maintenance

Print quality might be degraded by dust, foreign substance, adhesive substance, or other pollution materials stuck in the printer head or inside the printer.

When dirty, clean the print head as follows:

  • Make sure to turn off the printer prior to cleaning.
  • As the print head gets hot during printing, intending to clean the print head, turn the printer off and wait approximately 2~3 minute before commencement.
  • When cleaning the print head, take care not to touch the heated portion of the print head. Print Head is susceptible to damage from static electricity, etc.
  • Take care not to allow the print head become scratched and/or damaged in any way.

Cleaning the Printer Head

  1. Open the Printer Cover and then use the cleaning pen to clean the head in the direction from the center of the head to the edges.
  2. After cleaning the head, do not use the printer until the alcohol used for cleaning evaporates completely (1-2 min) and the printer has completely dried.

Cleaning Sensors, Roller, and Paper Path

  1. Open the printer cover and then remove the paper.
  2. Remove any dust or foreign substance using dry cloth or cotton swab.
  3. Soak the cloth or cotton swab in alcohol for medical use and use it to remove adhesive foreign substances or other pollution materials.
  4. After cleaning the parts, do not use the printer until the alcohol evaporates completely (1-2 min) and the printer has completely dried.

Note: Clean the parts whenever print quality or paper detection degraded.

Waste Electrical and Electric Equipment

SIM/SAM CARD INSTALLATION

  • Uncover the silicone strip (On the back of the terminal).
  • Insert the SAM/SIM card to the corresponding card slot.

CARD READERS

Magnetic Stripe Card

Slide the card through the card reader slot from left to right or from right to left with the magnetic strip oriented towards the body of the device. Make sure that the card is fully inserted into the card reader while swiping the card.

IC/Smart Card Reader

Insert the card fully into the reader with the metallic contacts facing up and towards the device. Make sure that the card is fully inserted into the card reader while scanning the card.

Contactless Card Reader

The contactless card reader reads cards and devices placed roughly within an inch (2.5 mm). For best results, place as close to the reader as possible and center the card over the indicated area at the top of the terminal.

CLEANING THE DEVICE

  • Do not use industrial strength or abrasive cleaner as it may damage or scratch the screen.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or liquid.
  • Do not spray water or cleaner into EMV Card Reader or ports.
  • To clean the screen, apply distilled water or mild glass cleaner onto a soft, lint-free cloth and gently wipe terminal.

LOAD PRINTER PAPER

  1. When the printer is out of paper, the red โ€œPaper Outโ€ indicator lights up. Press the button on the right of the printer to open the cover.

2. Load the paper roll into the paper compartment and extend the end of the paper out of the printer.

3. Close printer cover. The โ€œPaper Outโ€ indicator light turns to green.

TERMINAL INSTALLATION

  1. Connect the baseโ€™s DC Power port with the 9V/1A power adapter.
  2. Use a network cable to connect the baseโ€™s LAN port with an access point device such as router or LAN switch. (If not used, do not connect.)
  3. Put the paper roll (width: 58mm, diameter: 80 mm) into the paper holder with the paper coming from the top of the roll and pull about a 6โ€ length of receipt paper and close the paper door. Tear off excess receipt paper.
  4. Place the A60 terminal on the base. The A60 terminal will identify the base automatically and switch to be charged through the base.
  5. When the baseโ€™s Ethernet connection is available, the A60 terminal will automatically switch the data connection to the Ethernet connection on the base.
  6. It is possible to support up to seven A60 terminals connected to the base printer utilizing Bluetoothยฎ wireless technology. Receipts will be printed one by one.
  7. Paring the terminal with the printer: When setting up Bluetoothยฎ wireless technology pairing, the terminal searches for the printerโ€™s name. The name is a combination of the printer model number and serial number, for example BP60A_1400000001. When prompted, enter the password โ€œ0000โ€.

Note: When using Ethernet, do not vibrate the base and A60 terminal in order to avoid the interruption of the data connection between the terminal and the base.

INSTALLATION AND USAGE TIPS

  1. Use only the manufacturer supplied power adapter.
  2. Make sure the base is turned off when connecting it to the power supply.
  3. Avoid exposing the machine to hot, humid, and/or dusty environments.
  4. Avoid exposing the machine to direct sun.
  5. Keep the base away from liquid.
  6. Do not insert foreign objects into any port of the base.
  7. Do not use a wet cloth to clean the base.
  8. Please contact PAX Technical Support if the device fails. The user is not allowed to repair the device without authorization.

INSTALLATION

  2. Put the machine into the base in the vertical direction and confirm that the charging contact is in full contact.

Note:

Please put the base on the open and ventilated table for use. When using the machine, do not vibrate the base and A77 host violently, so as to avoid the charging interruption between the host and the base.
