PAXSTORE: Triple Signing Applications

All PAXSTORE applications go through a two-step process, developer and PAX signature, to properly authenticate and verify applications prior to pushing live on the PAXSTORE.

As an additional security measure, PAX offers triple signing where the PAXSTORE Marketplace owner or reseller can also sign the application, locking the terminal to a specific Marketplace or reseller account and preventing any offline loading of applications.

Benefits of Triple Signing

Locks terminal to a Marketplace (so the terminal cannot freely move from Marketplace to Marketplace) and prevents the offline loading of an APK.

PAXSTORE client is smart and can identify the terminal’s operating system is Triple Signing capable and it automatically takes care of the APK installation security methods.

A Factory Reset will not clear the Reseller signature. The terminal owner can freely move the terminal from one Reseller to another. Everything is transparent to the user.
