PAX Technology Ltd. (HKSE: 00327), today announced that China Unionpay Merchant Services (UMS) has completed internal evaluation and selected PAX terminals for inclusion in its 2013 annual POS terminal equipment centralized purchasing project.
UMS is a subsidiary of China Unionpay (UNP) with business focus on bankcard acquiring and third-party services, providing quality, efficient and standardized services for card issuers, merchants and cardholders through its far-reaching service network across China.
PAX products approved in this tender by UMS include the full range of countertop, portable, MIS PIN Pad, mobile and wireless terminals. The S80+SP20, S58 and S90 in particular, were ranked as the best by UMS.
