- In most cases the update to payment applications will be blocked unless the batch is closed on the device. If you are trying to downgrade your payment application, then the current version needs to be deleted from the terminal first.
- If it is a firmware update then make sure you are updating to a version that is close to your current version, it is safe to jump roughly 5-7 versions ahead of your current but more than that will likely fail.
