Mr. Chau is one of only 15 honorees to receive the annual award.
The Jacksonville Business Journal’s (JBJ) award recognizes members in the technical field whose leadership has helped grow their companies, shape their industries, and influence the First Coast local community. Mr. Chau was chosen based on the impact he has had both at work and in the local business community.
Mr. Chau has held his position with PAX since 2011 when he was tasked with growing the company’s North American operations, strategically positioning Jacksonville, Florida as its regional headquarters. He spearheaded a pivotal strategic reorientation, transitioning from solely providing low-cost payment terminals, to offering comprehensive hardware solutions, supported by top-tier secure devices and industry- leading software platforms. This new trajectory empowered businesses to design and develop high-value enterprise applications and marked PAX’s entry into the American market as a full-fledged payment solution provider.
