IT Support Engineer

We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to manage and support Windows-based endpoints in an enterprise environment using Microsoft Intune, Azure, and identity platforms to ensure secure and compliant operations. The role includes administering on-prem and cloud identity services, supporting endpoint and network security, and managing access control and compliance tools. This person serves as a senior escalation point, collaborates with IT and Security teams, maintains documentation, and continuously improves systems, processes, and overall security posture.

This is an onsite role in our Jacksonville office working Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.

  • Manage, deploy, configure, and support Windows-based endpoints (Windows 10/11) in an enterprise environment
  • Administer and maintain device management solutions using Microsoft Intune, including policy enforcement, patching, and compliance management
  • Design, manage, and support Microsoft Azure services with a focus on identity, endpoint, and security
  • Administer and maintain Local Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Entra ID), including synchronization, access control, and lifecycle management
  • Participate in and support IT information security initiatives, including endpoint security, identity protection, and access control
  • Support and maintain Portnox
  • Configure and manage Azure security and compliance features, such as Conditional Access, Defender, security baselines, and compliance policies
  • Provide basic network troubleshooting and support, including LAN/WAN connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network access issues
  • Act as a senior escalation point for end-user IT support, providing hands-on troubleshooting and effective problem resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Security, Infrastructure) to continuously improve systems, processes, and security posture
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and best practices
  • Bachelor’s in CS/IT (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in IT engineering (senior-level preferred)
  • Strong Windows enterprise environment expertise
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune (endpoint & policy management)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure (identity, devices, security)
  • Experience with Local AD & Azure AD (architecture, admin, troubleshooting)
  • IT security background (endpoint, identity, Zero Trust)
  • Familiarity with NAC tools (e.g., Portnox or similar)
  • Knowledge of Azure security & compliance best practices
  • Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs)
  • Strong problem-solving & end-user support skills
  • Good communication & ability to work independently
  • PowerShell scripting & automation skills
  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Endpoint, Security)
  • Networking certs (e.g., CCNA or equivalent)
  • Experience with security/compliance projects
  • Experience supporting distributed/global teams
  • Advanced PowerShell/automation experience
