Training and Development Specialist Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Training & Development Specialist to support the development and delivery of training programs across PAX products and solutions. This role will play a critical part in enabling employees, partners, and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively understand and support our payment technologies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand training experiences.
This is an onsite role in our Jacksonville office working Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on PAX products, including payment devices, software platforms, and integrated solutions
- Conduct instructor-led training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments for internal teams and external partners
- Create, update, and maintain training materials such as presentations, videos, job aids, and e-learning modules
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current offerings
- Support new product launches by developing training strategies, enablement content, and rollout plans
- Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; continuously refine and improve training programs
- Facilitate onboarding training for new hires across relevant departments to ensure a strong foundation in PAX products and processes
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on PAX solutions and stay informed on industry trends within the payments ecosystem
What You’ll Need:
- 3-5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or a related field
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality training experiences
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with payment technologies, fintech, or POS systems
- Experience supporting product launches or sales enablement initiatives
- Ability to design interactive and engaging learning experiences across multiple formats
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally
