IT Director Job Summary:
We’re looking for an Information Technology Director to be the driving force behind our technology strategy, shaping how systems, infrastructure, and support come together across multiple locations to keep the business running seamlessly. This role leads and develops a team of Help Desk Engineers while overseeing day-to-day IT operations and long-term initiatives. With a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability, the IT Director ensures our technology not only supports the business but actively empowers it to grow and operate at its best.
This is an onsite role in our Jacksonville office working Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and execute the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Help Desk Engineers and IT professionals
- Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring reliability and performance
- Design and implement technology solutions to support business needs and drive efficiency
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure (WAN/LAN, VPNs, firewalls)
- Lead disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership to drive digital transformation and operational improvements
- Own IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise networking
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management
- Experience managing IT operations across multiple locations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in regulated industries, e.g. banking, financial services
