Featuring a large ultra-clear, high-definition multimedia color touch screen and a beautiful back-lit keypad, the pocket-sized S920 is the perfect choice for the hospitality & restaurant industry, transportation and delivery services, field services and contractors where portability, usability and seamless customer interaction are key requirements.
Merchants will benefit from the S920’s elegant, sleek chassis, the superior battery life and the faster transaction times powered by a high-speed processor, larger memory capacity, and embedded GPS, EMV and NFC technology. The incredible range of wireless connectivity options (4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) complement a highly secure platform to keep up with the latest PCI security and P2PE standards.

The device is compatible over the following bands:
• LTE
o 2 (1900 MHz)
o 4 (1700 MHz)
o 5 (850 MHz)
o 17 (700b MHz)
• Also backwards compatible on 3G bands
o DC-HSPA+
o HSPA+
o UMTS
o 2 (1900 MHz)
o 4 (1700 Mhz)

The S920 can be supported both as a standalone terminal or semi-integrated. The device running the PAX BroadPOS platform comes equipped with multiple features to include Point-To-Point Encryption and Tokenization, online/offline PIN-based and Signature-based EMV credit, debit, gift card and EBT transaction types. With PAX’s unique semi-integrated solutions, Point-Of-Sale software developers can easily start processing EMV transactions by sending simply the dollar amount and an invoice number to the EMV terminal. The EMV terminal then processes the transactions directly with the processor and returns only the non-sensitive data such as approval code and token back to the Point-Of-Sale software.
