PAX Receives PCI-PED Certification for SP30 PIN pad and S80 Countertop Terminal
Shenzhen, China, December 15, 2007 - PAX Technology Limited, a leading provider of innovative electronic payment terminals, unveils its two new products called SP30 and S80 today in Shenzhen, China. Both of the new products are both PCI On & Off line and EMV 4.0 I&II certified.
The S80 is the PAX's new generation all-in-one POS terminal and it has a compact and sleek design. It has wide range of communication and configuration options with a magnetic card reader, IC card reader, contactless card reader and thermal printer. The S80 also supports a wide range of connectivity options such as RS232, USB, high speed dial-up modem, Ethernet, WiFi, GSM/GPRS, and CDMA. The S80 can support multiple payment applications making it powerful enough to meets the needs virtually any business.
The SP30 is a programmable encrypting PIN Pad and it has a wide range of configuration options including a magnetic card reader, IC card reader, contactless card reader, RS232, Ethernet, USB, as well as dial-up modem. The SP30 can easily be integrated with an ECR or any other POS terminal for PIN based transaction to achieve the cost efficiency.
