Ed Spain, Retail Sales
Ed has served as head of Retail Sales with PAX since October 2009. He is responsible for implementing both direct and channel partner distribution strategies to major retail customers. Customer service will be a primary focus as Ed works to build a solid, retail customer base for PAX.
Prior to joining PAX, Ed had over 20 years experience in sales, management, customer support and business development, as well as international experience in Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean. One of the original sales representatives for Checkmate Electronics, Ed progressed through the ranks to become a Vice President of Sales for Ingenico after its acquisition of IVI/Checkmate. Ed is credited with helping retailers implement some of the first touch screen based, customer facing terminals that are now in wide spread use.
Ed has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, as well as an A.S. degree in Computer Technology. Ed is also an Eagle Scout and speaks Spanish fluently.
