PAX Technology, a leading global provider of secure electronic payment terminals, and PETROTEC, a reputable payments systems integrator, have announced the successful passing of SIBS certification in Portugal for the S800 countertop and S900 wireless Point of Sale (POS) terminal models.
Mr. Mark O’Flynn, Regional Sales Director at PAX, said: “This is another major milestone for PAX in Europe and in line with our global growth strategy, as the SIBS certification comes close on the heels of UK Cards Common Criteria approval in the UK and CB2 certification in Italy.”
The E-payment Terminal software solution developed by PETROTEC is one of the first to support SIBS’s so-called version 60, which includes Dynamic Currency Conversion, Petroleum applications and MB-Spot value added functionalities. PETROTEC’s MagicPOS suite integrated on PAX terminals enables merchants to simultaneously issue tax invoices and file monthly SAF-T tax returns.
